About Us
When I was pregnant with my first child, I became very interested in preserving our family history to share with my children. My granny was constantly telling us stories about growing up and I loved to sit and listen. I started collecting information on my parents and grandparents thinking I would stop there, that changed. When my granny was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002, the family decided it was time to begin sorting through her 40+ years of life at 529 Highlander.
As we cleaned out boxes and boxes of my grandparents' life, I uncovered a very thorough family tree. My granny was a stickler for keeping things. She had birth announcements, death announcements, marriage announcements, newspaper articles and lots of photos. With each piece of the family history puzzle I uncovered, the more excited I got. I have spent the last 4 1/2 years trying to add to the information I found. I still get excited when I get a clue that leads me to adding to the branches of our tree.
My sister Jayme caught the genealogy bug when she lived with me for a short time in 2006. I had hit a brick wall in one branch of our tree and she worked for days until she broke through and in the process added an entire branch. Needless to say, she was hooked. She became a pro at deciphering reports.
After helping many friends unlock the secrets of their ancestors' pasts, we decided it was time to offer our services to others. It is my hope that we can help you preserve the history of your family for generations to come.
